Food
As much as I love cooking, sometimes a good meal out is all you need for a kick of inspiration. Creating various dishes and meals everyday can get tiring and I find myself stuck in a rut, searching for ideas on what to make next. I love trying new places and eating different types of cuisine and recreating restaurant dishes in a simplified form. Sometimes all you need is a little indulgence to stay on the right track in terms of food, health and your well-being. Everything in moderation, right?
I decided to compile my posts of restaurant reviews. I live in Los Angeles, so most of these restaurants will probably be from L.A., with the few exceptions of when I go on a trip. I love eating at various places, ranging from fine dining to hole in the wall restaurants. L.A. Food Events
Part of being a food writer is the great perks of attending a variety of food events throughout the year in Los Angeles. Instead of meeting Brad Pitt at a movie premier, I meet world renowned chefs, culinary masters and sommeliers instead! Not to mention, most of the events include a diverse selection of wineries and food from famous restaurants. I love attending these press events because it allows me to expand my food knowledge and network with foodies alike. Furthermore, I am able to take part in bringing more awareness to these amazing events, which are held to benefit charities.
